A favourite project: side tables whose layered colours and thicknesses quietly translate a sex survey into a luminous, three-dimensional infographic.
Space
Two plaster medallions are all that remain from the original 1886 Toronto house we renovated — one now framing a timeless Pawson light in the mud room.
Obsession
A Hawaiian surfers’ breakfast: papaya bowls in vintage enamelware, eaten with my sister on her Georgetown patio.
Colour
A strangely beautiful colour palette that stopped me cold at a show in Washington, D.C. — revealed to be a sculpted-paper recreation of Whitney Houston’s last meal.
